Double cemented achromatic lens consists of a positive lens with low refractive index (Crown glass) and a negative lens with high refractive index (flint glass). After computer optimization design, paraxial aberrations such as spherical aberration, coma aberration and chromatic aberration have been well corrected. When used for focusing collimation, convex lens or surface with small curvature radius usually faces collimated light. When used for imaging, the convex lens faces the side with longer object distance or image distance.

XSC-650 Double Glued Lens with Metal Frame
This series of achromatic double cemented lenses consists of a positive lens with low refractive index (Crown glass) and a negative lens with high refractive index (flint glass). The lens is pre-installed in the frame with external thread of 1.035 "-40 (SM1) with external diameter of 30mm, which can be compatible with SM1 threaded frame or 30 mm coaxial lens barrel series. The lens frame is marked with the lens type, focal length and coating range of antireflection film.
After computer optimization design, the spherical aberration, coma aberration and chromatic aberration of the double cemented lens are well corrected, and the surface is coated with MgF2 antireflection film. When used to focus collimated light, the convex lens or the surface with small radius of curvature faces the collimated light, and when used for imaging, the convex lens must face the side with longer object distance or image distance.
