Compound achromatic objective lens and plane compound achromatic objective lens
The compound achromatic objective lens is composed of multiple groups of lenses. The correction of chromatic aberration is actually equal to the whole wave area of the scenery, but the chromatic aberration of partial magnification still exists. When it is used with Fugen eyepiece or other simple combination eyepieces, these residual color differences will make the image edge slightly colored. Therefore, it needs to be used with compensation eyepiece. The apochromatic objective lens has no restrictions on the light source, and good results can be obtained in white light illumination. If blue or yellow filter is added, the effect is better.
The plane achromatic objective has the same degree of aberration correction as the compound achromatic objective except for further image bending correction. The flatness of the image is not as good as that of the achromatic objective, while the plane achromatic objective can make the image clear and flat and further improve the image quality.
